A Vampire's Touch

Before we get into it, I was told by a few people that the last story was too long. I don't think it was too long, I just think they tried reading it all in one sitting and if you don't have time for something like that, than of course it's going to seem too long. This is not a chapter books type of thing, it's a website for short stories so they are the appropriate length. But just to humor those who are bothered by the daunting look of a long read, I will be posting the next story in small parts and now without further ado; A Vampire's Touch......


"Damn, why won't he let up?!" I asked myself in a breathless whisper as I ran through the back alley on fifth and Hunnington. I was running from Gavin Matthers, local badass vampire. Not a lot of people in this world knew about the Immortals but those of us who do, know to either stay out of their way or join up with them. My name is Kiyonna Lewis and this is my story.

I am what you would call a fae hunter. My job is to make sure humans and immortals coexist peacefully with little to no problems. There are some pretty cool fae out there too. One of my very best friends just happens to be a fairy and the other is a were-panther. They are both very kind and loving. They also help the organization that I run; Watching Immortals, Saving Humans or WISH for short. We pretty much make sure humans are safe as well as immortals because humans can be just as ruthless when they find out about something or someone different from them.

To the humans who don't know about the "other" world, the company is known to them as World Immigration Survival Help. We also help those, immortal and human, to immigrate to another country safely and legally. We work hard to protect others and to offer a life worth living. I started the company with my mom when I was 10 years old. I had the fortunate opportunity to have met and became really close with Tish Newton, my fairy friend. She accidentally showed me her powers and I was over the moon about it since! My mom always told me there were beings out there who were not human and we must treat them with the same respect that we would like ourselves. Tish's mom was a little worried at first but when she and my mom got to know one another, they became fast friends.

Anyways, Tish's mom was murdered by a human. She was sleeping with another woman's husband and the woman killed her. She studied Tish's mom thoroughly for months before she figured out she was fae and found out how to kill her. By the way, if you didn't understand it, fae can’t be killed as easily as a human. So once she was dead, someone from the other world killed the wife and husband to avenge Tish’s mom. I personally don’t think Tish’s mom should have been killed but she should have had her assed whooped! I hate cheaters and people who knowingly sleep with someone else’s spouse. So after all that happened, my mother and I chose to start WISH to really help everyone get along.

At this present moment, I find myself being chased by Gavin, said afore mentioned badass vampire. I’ve known Gavin for about two months now through WISH and he is so sexy, i just want to do so much to him, lick him, taste every inch of his body, feel that massive co...Uhhmm Sorry about that. So I told him off early tonight and ran out the building after one of our weekly meetings. “Kiyonna, stop and talk to me for real,” said Gavin.
