      The next day, I went to work feeling tired and worn out; not in that sweet and good way. I walked in my office and Gavin was just sitting right there on my chaise lounge or should I say sprawled is a better word for it because he wasn’t just perched on the edge. The man just looked right at home, in my office like he belonged there. “Hey gorgeous, I brought some coffee. Thought you might need it.” He said this with a damn smirk on his face. “What do you want now Gavin? I am not in the mood okay? And I have a lot of work to do today.” I took a sip and the coffee and moaned in delight and great appreciation.

      At that, Gavin stiffened slightly then quickly adjusted his pants, wait, for me? No. It was just a small womanly sound and he’s just a horn-dog that would probably get it up for anyone who bent over for him. I cleared my throat, “So why are you here?” He smiled at me. “I talked to your assistant today and she told me that you don’t have any pressing issues at the moment so you are free. I would like to take you out for the day.”

      My jaw dropped. I stared at him for a moment, and then looked around for the cameras and crew. “Okay you got me, haha where’s the cast because I must be on some type of comedy show.” He gave me a serious look. “No Gavin, I don’t want to go out with you. If you’re looking to have sex with someone, look somewhere else. I’m looking for something real from someone, something lasting and of course monogamous. You, on the hand, have shown that you want something short term; you’re a player, your even into dating multiple women at once and I’m not for that so my answer is no and goodbye.”

      I turned to my computer but he didn’t move. He was staring at me like I just slapped him for no reason. “Kiyonna, I do want something real. I find you fascinating and I want to get to know you more. Yes I would love to have sex with you but I am willing to wait as long as you want. I just want to take you out and treat you special. You are nothing like the women I have been with and I find that both refreshing and exciting.”

      I thought about it for a moment. Could I really go out with him? Is he really ready for a real relationship and romance? Would I be able to trust him not only with my body but with my heart? I took a deep breath and said “Okay Gavin, we’ll start slow. Let’s go out today and see how it turns out.” I grabbed my purse and walked out of my office with Gavin following behind me.

      We decided on a small bistro for brunch and he talked about our plans for the day. "Kiyonna, I want to take you on a boat ride around the harbor. We can stop at the mall down the street and pick up a few things so you won't have to go all the way home for anything." I just stared at him open-mouthed for a moment; I still couldn't really believe he wanted to spend time with me. "Umm, sure, I guess. I'll need to grab a bathing suit and few essentials, as well.
